Finding Print and Electronic (Online) Articles

To find a specific journal, use the Maag Journal Finder, searching by title or ISSN. The results will show if Maag has the journal in print or available through the subscription databases to current YSU faculty, students, and staff. You can also search specific discipline categories in Maag Journal Finder. After choosing a category, filter the search by selecting topics from the left-side listings. Below are some specialized technical, medical, and scientific databases to explore and use:

ACM Digital Library (Association for Computing Machinery) This link opens in a new window
The ACM Digital Library (DL) is the most comprehensive collection of full-text articles and bibliographic records in existence today covering the fields of computing and information technology. The full-text database includes the complete collection of ACM's publications, including journals, conference proceedings, magazines, newsletters, and multimedia titles.
Computers & Applied Sciences Complete (EBSCO) This link opens in a new window
Covers the spectrum of the applied sciences, representing knowledge on traditional engineering challenges and providing material for research concerning the business and social implications of new technology. CASC provides indexing and abstracting for academic journals, professional publications, and other reference sources. Full Text is available for more than 500 periodicals. Subject areas include the many engineering disciplines, computer theory, and new technologies.

Electronic Journal Center (OhioLINK) This link opens in a new window
Full-text article repository. Do definitive searches in other databases and then retrieve article/s through the EJC.
Includes the full text of more than 7000 online research journals covering many subject areas. Most electronic indexes available to the Ohio academic community link from article citations to the full text in the EJC.
ScienceDirect (Elsevier) This link opens in a new window
Access to approximately 3,000 journal titles. While some titles and ebooks are not available to YSU students, others may be found in OhioLINK's Electronic Journal Center (EJC).
