FY2018 Library Building Counts: Fall 2017, Spring 2018 & Summer 2018
Reference students count the number of patrons in each area of the library at approximately 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 7:00 PM on weekdays, 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Saturdays, and 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Sundays. These numbers are compiled into semester reports.
During Fall Semester 2017, there was an average of 116 patrons in the library during the 10AM floor counts, 91 patrons during 2PM floor counts, and 43 patrons during 7PM building counts. The Reference Room, the 4th floor, and the 3rd floor were the busiest on average.
During Spring Semester 2018, there was an average of 87 patrons in the library during the 10AM floor counts, 65 patrons during the 2PM floor counts, and 38 patrons during the 7PM building counts. The 3rd floor, the 4th floor, and the Reference Room were the busiest on average.
During Summer Semester 2018, there was an average of 15 patrons in the library during the 10AM floor counts, 19 patrons during the 2PM floor counts, and 10 patrons during the 7PM building counts. The Reference Room, the main floor lobby, and the 4th floor were the busiest floors on average.
