During fall 2013 Waste Free Maag will begin collecting used printer cartridges and personal electronic devices for recycling through FundingFactory, a free recycling fundraiser for schools, nonprofits and charities. Since 1998, Funding Factory has saved 21 million pounds of waste from landfills. They process items in a R2, ISO 14001 certified facility and are committed to the Zero Landfill Initiative.

Waste Free Maag helped sponsor a book drive during the 2013 YSU English Festival and collected over 2000 books for displaced families of Superstorm Sandy.
