What is the TRIP Database?

The TRIP Database

  • Is made to quickly provide evidence for clinical decision making
  • Pulls information from Cochrane, National Guideline Clearinghouse, and Medline

Advantage:

  • Allows you to search evidence based resources together, and very quickly.
  • Includes a PICO search tool to help you quickly search the literature.

Disadvantage:

  • Will only link to YSU full text when on campus, otherwise you will need to log in or use the Maag Journal Finder to get full text.

More Help:

  • Tutorials are available HERE to assist you in your use of TRIP

Remember: Each database is different and sometimes it can be hard or frustrating when starting your research. If you ever need help in navigating a certain database, the staff at the Research & Information Desk will gladly help!  Feel free to stop by or give us a call at (330) 941-3686.
