The American College Test (ACT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) are nationally administered, standardized paper-and-pencil tests that help colleges evaluate candidates.
Colleges now accept ACT or SAT scores interchangeably. This means you have the opportunity to decide on which test you'll perform better. In many cases, students prepare for and take both exams.
