The CRC is a branch of Maag Library located on the main floor of Beeghly Hall.
The CRC contains children's literature, kits, games, puppets, manipulatives, and books in the fields of education, special education, school psychology, and counseling.
You MUST have a valid YSU ID is able to borrow CRC materials.
According to the American Library Association website: "This award is named after Pura Belpré, the first Latina librarian at the New York Public Library. The Pura Belpré Award, established in 1996, is presented annually to a Latino/Latina writer and illustrator whose work best portrays, affirms, and celebrates the Latino cultural experience in an outstanding work of literature for children and youth."
