Children's Book Award Winners in the CRC

The CRC is a branch of Maag Library located on the main floor of Beeghly Hall.

The CRC contains children's literature, kits, games, puppets, manipulatives, and books in the fields of education, special education, school psychology, and counseling.

You MUST have a valid YSU ID is able to borrow CRC materials.

According to the National Council of Teachers of English website: "The NCTE Orbis Pictus Award® for Outstanding Nonfiction for Children was established in 1989 to promote and recognize excellence in the writing of nonfiction for children. Orbis Pictus commemorates the work of Johannes Amos Comenius: Orbis Pictus—The World in Pictures (1658), considered to be the first book actually planned for children."
