Maag Library Reopening Announcement: Home

Welcome Back to Maag! 

Maag Library and Curriculum Resource Center in Beeghly Hall are open with the following health and safety protocols in place to keep you and others safe:  

• All visitors are required to wear masks at all times (over mouth and nose) and practice physical distancing.
• Hand sanitizer and cleaning supply stations are available to wipe off tables/chairs before and after use.   
• Temperature station available at north entrance. 
• Furniture and computers spaced to allow for physical distancing. Do not move furniture, including chairs.
• Food/snacks is allowed ONLY in the 3rd floor Maag Café area. Covered cups allowed elsewhere.
• Plexi-glass installed in service areas.

As we continue to offer access to physical and digital resources, various contact-free services, and virtual patron support, we encourage you to take advantage of these services: 

• Maag Stacks are now open for patron browsing.
• Request Maag items from through the MaagNET Library Catalog and pick up at the Maag Library Circulation Desk. CRC items can be picked up at the CRC Circulation Desk in Beeghly Hall.
• Request OhioLINK items through the OhioLINK Library Catalog.
• Check out materials using your new Y Card in the YSU App (student life section), the YSU Portal (under e-Services), or directly at ycard.ysu.edu. 
• Use Electronic Document Delivery or Interlibrary Loan.  
• For Maag Library and CRC book returns, use the outside book drop located on the west side of Maag Library anytime. You may also drop off returns at the Maag Circulation Desk during library hours.  
• The computer lab will open for self-service use. See Maag Computer Lab for more information. 

• Need Research Help or Library Instruction? Librarians are available virtually during library hours to help you: 

  • Chat with a Librarian or leave a message when chat is offline. 
  • Ask A Librarian email. 
  • Request a Virtual Research Appointment using WebEx or Zoom. 
  • Email your Subject Librarian for subject or class-specific help. 
  • Call 330-941-3686 to speak with a librarian during library hours.
